Alexandre Quinze named Vice President of Boston Metal do Brasil
We are pleased to welcome Alexandre Quinze as Vice President of Boston Metal do Brasil, our recently opened, wholly owned subsidiary that will deploy our patented molten oxide electrolysis (MOE) platform technology to recover high-value metals from mining waste.
With more than 30 years of experience at all levels of companies, from startups to multinational corporations, Alexandre is tasked with developing operations in Brazil.
Alexandre was co-founder and CEO of Trutec, the Baumgart Group’s ecosystem of construtechs and proptechs, and held leadership positions at Vedacit, Philips, Rimini Street, PwC Brasil, CBMM, and Flex. He holds an engineering degree from São Paulo University (USP) and completed specialization courses in supply chain at the University of California and in innovation and technology at Campinas University, in addition to earning an MBA in business administration from Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV), where he has been a professor for over 14 years.

Alexandre joins Boston Metal do Brasil President, Itamar Resende and the growing team in Brazil as they scaleup operations to achieve commercialization of our MOE technology for high-value metals, which is expected in 2023.
